The Thelwall Ferry across the Manchester Ship Canal runs every day (except Sunday morning) at the following times:
7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The cost is 12p (ferryman told me it is 11p) per trip or 25p per day for unlimited usage and access is via Ferry Lane, Thelwall. www.grappenhallandthelwallpc.org.uk/
